Abstract Detail
Comparative Genomics/Transcriptomics Leebens-Mack, Jim [1]. The Open Green Genomes Initiative: Comparative Investigation of Plant Genome Content and Structure Across the Land Plant Tree of Life. The objective of the Open Green Genome Initiative is to fill-in phylogenetic gaps in the availabilty of chromosmal assemblies for lineages across the land plant tree of life. On behalf of the Open Green Genome Initiative, I will present our progress in generating chromosomal genome assemblies for species distributed across the land plant phylogeny. Annotated aassemblies are being posted in the Phytozome database after vetting and curration. Comparative analyses of assembies are increasing resolution of evolutionary changes in gene content and genome struction accross the land plant tree of life. Log in to add this item to your schedule
